Please note above package pricing is for weddings within 2 hours of Portland, Maine. A travel fee will be added to packages outside this range. Please let me know where your wedding is for a more accurate travel estimate.

Engagement shoot (1 hour session time) in the Portland area if you find yourself in the area and would like to schedule one. Engagement shoots are available outside of Portland for a small travel fee. If you do not want to use an engagement shoot you can take $400 off the package price.
Custom Album is a Hard-cover and thick paged lay-flat album, 9 x12 Album with 30 pages. Book cloth or leather cover. Thick pages that lay flat. There are two options for albums, ranging from $750-$1000.

FAQs
Do we get the files?
Yes! I deliver your gallery online and you are able to download the entire collection there. You can download the files at the original size, and also at a web size for easy sharing. Your files will never be watermarked.
Can we print our photos?
Yes! You can order prints through the gallery. The gallery uses a professional printer to ensure your photos will look the way they are intended to. You can also use the files to print somewhere else if you choose to.
When do we get our images!?
You will get a preview from me within a week of your wedding. You will get your final gallery within 5 weeks of your wedding date.
We're awkward in front of the camera, is that ok?
Yes! It can feel incredibly awkward to be in front of a camera with a stranger and feel like you're supposed to know what to do. I have been through this with so many couples and I think the most important part of my job is to make sure you're comfortable being yourself around me. That's how we're going to get photos that look natural, unposed, and like YOU. I don't go into a shoot with a predetermined set of poses I run everyone through, that just doesn't work for me. I like to take some time to get you know you both, see how you interact with each other and then give some direction from there.
We have a big wedding party/family, how should we handle that for photos?
I see this a lot! Wedding party photos and family photos can be a hectic part of the day but it doesn't need to be. There are two things that can be done to make this part of the day go smoothly.
1. Well before your wedding date I'll be sending you a wedding info guide. This has tips for planning certain parts of your day with photography in mind and also has a questionnaire with info I'll need about your wedding. Part of the questionnaire is a section about which family photos and wedding photos you want to do. Every family and friend group is different so I do not make any assumptions about the specific groupings you'll want. You'll have space to list them all out, and that'll give me an idea of how much time we'll need to do them. When we talk prior to the wedding we'll make sure we have time, and about where we'll do these. Once we have the list together we'll know who we need during that part of the day and I recommend telling these people ahead of time when we'll need them. You can appoint a friend in charge of the wedding party, a family member in charge of your family, let everyone know at the rehearsal, etc. Mainly I just want to avoid you having to run out and find people who have slipped off for a drink or some food!
2. One thing I highly recommend as part of your schedule for the wedding is breaking up the group photos into two sections so you don't have to do either for very long. If you're having a wedding party and you're all getting ready together, we can do photos of all the ladies together and all the guys together separately (a great reason to have a second photographer!) If you're doing a first look, we can do the first look and then do all the wedding party photos before the ceremony since they'll all be ready at that point as well. Once the ceremony is over we can do family photos and you'll still have plenty of time to go to your cocktail hour.
Do you have insurance?
Yes! I have liability insurance and equipment insurance.
Do you have a second photographer?
I have 3 people I work with on a regular basis. I've been shooting with each of them for years, and they're all great!
What's your background?
I went to school for Advertising + Design, and worked as a designer for a bunch of years. I went back to school for documentary photography during that time and through a series of unrelated events, people started asking me to photograph their wedding. After 4 years of doing it part time while working as a designer, I realized I couldn't keep doing both and decided to go out on my own and pursue wedding photography. I've been self employed full time for over 3 years now, and have shot about 100 weddings all over Maine, New England, Oregon and California. I've been published in magazines and blogs, traveled around the world to learn from my favorite photographers, and made some pretty amazing friendships with clients over the years.
